My career lies at the intersection of culture, commerce and impact. I am a 360 creative and director interested in global systems and how story can impact audiences to take action: participate in a movement, convert story to sales or reposition a brand's image with new audiences. I have 17 years of experience in media, executive producing, directing, creative directing, and developing both short and long-form episodic content.

I am a skilled delegator, patient communicator, team leader and passionate mentor. I'm deeply interested in the spectrum of the human experience and connecting authentically with audiences. I am excited to be part of projects that inspire and ignite.

BLKFLM is a media organization founded by Vanessa as a hub for impact driven media. Dedicated to building a happier and more human world through well designed storytelling, each project is bespoke in strategy, style and formate.
